There can be moments in a man’s life when there is a hurricane of emotion within his heart. When he is elated and feels as though he is soaring through the sky; but, his mind is not clouded and his judgment is not compromised.
I quite enjoyed this period of life. I was blessed with a great apartment, plenty of food, loving parents, loyal friends, and a budding relationship.
At this point, I was already fully aware of the fact that I would marry this woman; and, I made a conscious decision to love her. I didn’t tell her, of course. I needed to give myself time to prove it to myself and to be sure of my decision. But I already knew it in my heart and mind.
She was on the swings thirty feet or so away from us. She wore a grey coat and a colorful scarf. Her hair billowed in the wind as she swayed to and fro. She was absolutely beautiful, and I felt warmer just by looking at her.

I saw that I had found my treasure, and at that moment I knew that she would be my wife.
The city was aglow with lights and abuzz with people. I tried my best to take it all in, but I could barely keep my eyes off of Nadia. Still, despite having known it for such a short time and despite seeing so little of it, I was beginning to fall in love with this city.
She was beautiful. She wore a black and blue turtleneck sweater and a pair of jeans. As she came closer, I smelled her sweet perfume. I was absolutely enamored with her, and it was hard not to stare.
I was beginning to feel a little woozy, and there was a sensation of dry emptiness in my throat. The kind of feelings you experience when you are hungry and tired.
