Of Chess and Life

Another old poem. This is a short one from a couple years ago. It’s a bit edgy, but I like it.

We Came, We Saw, We Loved – Part 9

I quite enjoyed this period of life. I was blessed with a great apartment, plenty of food, loving parents, loyal friends, and a budding relationship.

The Bench

I wrote this poem in March of 2020. Some time has passed since then, and I have grown a lot. Both in skill and in character. There are some things that I would change about the poem to make it better, but I’ve decided to share it unaltered. Let it serve as something to compare…

A Bird

Flittering, twittering, flapping its wings Whistling, bristling, gaily it sings Clicking and beeping my camera pings Sending my subject away on its wings I got a few photos of a bird. I only had a couple seconds for each shot, so I wasn’t able to get a good crisp shot with the focus set properly.…
